As the first manufacturer to introduce a formal training program, GLT has led the way in education, offering certifications in green roofs, green walls, urban farming, rooftop agriculture, and vertical farming. Our training has evolved into the GLT “ProStaff” certification, recognizing the professional status of our dedicated installers and maintenance technicians.
GLT’s patented living wall systems are made from recycled aluminum and stainless steel, materials preferred by LEED, and are fully manufactured in the United States and Canada for the Canadian market. Our green roof system, crafted from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and recycled polyester, is designed for durability and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Our green roof system is strong, flexible, and lightweight, designed to optimize water management and plant health. Each material layer is adhered, ensuring a fast, clean, and easy installation. The system’s modularity & flexibility make it ideal for various applications, and water retention is easily enhanced with our affordable water retention fabric.
Green Living Wall
Our living wall system is made from 100% recycled aluminum, with a depth of 6 inches, designed for exterior wall-mounted applications. Complete with the GLT g2 Cover to prevent erosion, panels can be pre-planted off-site and installed at full maturity, ensuring immediate impact and minimal installation time.
The GLTI Plug and Play system is the most advanced and user-friendly living wall solution available, setting a new standard in the industry. Crafted from high-quality aluminum and stainless steel—materials used in GLT’s green living wall panels—this system is built to withstand the test of time, resisting warping, cracking, or damage often found in plastic alternatives.
Its patented modular design allows for a simple installation with only two pieces of hardware per section. Standard sections can reach up to 6 feet high, significantly reducing labor time by 70% and hardware requirements by 90%, which translates into fewer penetrations and less material usage.
Designed for efficiency, the GLTI Plug and Play includes a fully calculated irrigation system, making it ideal for locations where an internal drain is not feasible. It accommodates industry-standard 4”, 6”, and one-gallon pots for larger-scale applications. Because it’s made from aluminum, this system can be used both indoors and outdoors.
With its straightforward irrigation and drainage system, the GLTI Plug and Play eliminates the need for reservoirs, float valves, UV lights, and overflow systems, reducing hardware, minimizing maintenance, and simplifying the overall setup. Available in both wall-mounted and freestanding options, this system is the ideal choice for anyone seeking a hassle-free, high-performance living wall solution.
