Description:

This municipal green roof was subject to weight limitations of less than 12 pounds per square foot saturated. Our lightweight application still includes 4” of growing media due to the GLTI’s expertise in media and weight load limitation systems. The custom edge detail is a GLTI product specific for this green roof and the paver detail. Vegetation is grown off site in order to deliver a 100% mature product that minimizes on-going maintenance and prevents weed infestation. Fertilization is accomplished using GLTI’s bioSoil, a consortium of beneficial bacteria.
