Canada Blooms Celebrity Stage Features the Greenwall Editor George Irwin, Green Living Walls: Uncovering the Truth
Rochester NY & Toronto Canada March 10, 2014 – Canada Blooms Unilock Celebrity Stage will host the bold, brazen and entertaining Green Living Technologies International (GLTi) President George Irwin. A rock star in his own right, Irwin is known for his no-fluff position in the green roof and living wall industry.
On March 14, 2014 at 5:00 pm, Irwin of GLTi, will provide an underground look at living walls also known as vertical gardens. Living Walls are sweeping the design community with visual and perceived environmental benefits. Not all living walls are created equal. The industry is without standards and more often than not inexperience and poor product design lead to plant and product failure.
Join us as we discuss the applications of vertical gardens and the critical differences between product and techniques. The talk will include hydroponic, media based, felt, plastic, multi part systems, industry terminology, the pros and cons and potential health threats. The presentation will educate the professional designer and consumer on how to implement a successful green living wall, expected maintenance and applications in various climate regions and interior installations. The session will provide authentic case studies and a follow up question and answer session long after the initial presentation.
